About Us
Built for the ute, not the desk
The Construction Diary is a job diary for Australian tradies. One book that lives in the ute, takes about a minute at the end of a job, and comes inside at tax time with everything your accountant needs already in it.
We are a family business, started in 2013 and now on the Sunshine Coast. Across our range we have shipped more than 50,000 orders at a 4.95 star average.
Why it is built the way it is
Silver spiral binding, because glue-bound books cook in a hot ute. The glue softens and your year falls out on the floor of the cab.
Hard PU leather with reinforced silver corners, because it gets thrown on the dash, sat on and rained on. It wipes clean.
Printed sections, not blank pages. Date, times, hours, who you worked for, where, what you did, what you used. You just fill the gaps. That matters most when a job goes sideways and you need to show what happened and when.
One diary, whatever you do
There is one Construction Diary and it works whether you are a builder, a sparky, a chippy or a plumber. The paperwork that catches tradies out is the same in every trade. You do not need a special edition. You need one book you actually fill in.
If a dated diary does not suit you, the Daily Log for Tradies is undated. Mechanics have their own.
Who you are dealing with
Leona founded the business and designs the range. Christine looks after customers and has run a tradie business herself, so you are not explaining your world to someone who has never seen it. Joe runs the warehouse.
Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We ship across Australia and New Zealand.
